Mountain Pond

Okay, so it's not a pond, it's a lake in the mountains, the Sierras to get a little closer. It's nice to just sit by the side of the waters and admire the snow-capped mountains in the background and listen to the birds. Quiet, relaxing, stress-reducing location.

Park Scenic View

There are some days when the pictures themselves are worth more than the proverbial 1000 words, I think this is one of them. Watching the clouds wisp by slowly in the meandering breeze makes the sight pleasant. The birds chirping and breeze through the trees makes for a quiet, serene spot to meditate and collect one's thoughts.

Rickety Walk

If you could take a long walk on a short pier, I guess this would be it; if you even made it to the end of the pier. It's quite an amazing pic but I'd say a little work needs to be done as the wood is a little rickety. One board was replaced, but was it after someone fell through? Ha ha, it's all in good fun, but what a beautiful shot of the sunset.

Bridge of Beautiful Dreams

Take this creaky, wooden bridge out over the calm, sun-swept gleaning pond and watch the clouds meander slowly by as the sun crests over the nearby mountains. The lightly blowing breeze carries mild whispers through the reeds growing next to the bridge hinting about the awakening of the new day.
